Or is it the brutal reality of life?
Time can be brutally cruel. The lack of it can send a loving couple on the path of separation. It can estrange mother and daughter, parents and children. It can build invisible walls which children and parents are unable to pass through. Family ties are weakened because of it.
Time, technological progress and different life experiences can lead to generation gap. New perspectives, expressions and vocabulary are unfamiliar to the older generation.
Technology has increased the distances among people.

Has time changed us or thinking changed us?
To face the cruel reality?
We have to face it that time is a very cruel thing. It can split up a happy couple who were very much in love, it can alienate mother and daughter who once were very close. It can make children and their parents feel like they are living in two different worlds with thick high wall in between which nobody can cross over. Neither the children nor the parents want to go to the other side. As time passes by, there are a lot of things which have generation gap. An invisible wall divides the old generation with the young generation. Family bond disappears with time.
With the advancement of time and technology, two generations have different view angle and different expression on a lot of ordinary things. Many new terms young people use nowadays are totally unknown to the old generation.
It is technology which brings the generation gap between parents and children in today's society.
It is technology which will drive people further away from each other.

Is the time or the ideology that has us changed?
At the brutal reality?
We are forced to admit that time is cruel enough to end up an affectionate couple, to temper the love of family, to divide kids and parents in between a wall that is too tall and thick to cross over. The kids are recluctant to visit the other end, neither are their parents. Something will separate generations as the time goes by. Some intangible wall will insulate families between consecutive generations and family bond will fade out through the current of time.

Thanks to the advanced science and technology in the new era, there is disparity in what one expose in life, on things between ages, and among words and dictions such as currently emerged phrases unknown to the elders.

Therefore, sci-tech, which is widening the bond of humanity, lies responsible for the generation gap between family in the current age.
