　　When,in disgrace with fortune and man's eyes
　　I all alone beweep my outcast state
　　And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries
　　And look upon my self and curse my fate
　　Wishing me like to one more rich in hope
　　Featured like him,like him with friends possess'd
　　Desiring this man's art and that man's scope
　　With what I most enjoy contented least
　　Yet in these thought myself almost despising

　　十四行诗有三个特点：1是每首14行；2是音律为抑扬格（又称轻重格，即iambic）；3是有五个音部（pentameter）。所以诗也有五抑五扬，有些一个单词为抑（扬），有些一个单词可既有抑又有扬，有些两个（或更多）单词为一个抑（扬）。看具体情况而定。
