somehow和somewhat的区别及用法

1、含义不同

somewhat是颇为、尚可的意思。即到达一定程度，但程度又没有特别深。

例1：The situation has improved somewhat during the past year. 

过去几年局势已经改善了不少。

somehow有两个意思，一个是以某种方式，还有一个是不知怎么地。

例1：There's a bus strike but lan will get here somehow. 虽然遇上公交系统罢工，但 Ian 还是会想办法去那儿。

例2：Somehow, I don't feel I can trust him. 

也不知为什么，我觉得无法信任他。

somewhat译为“有点儿”为一般副词，常修饰形容词或副词，并置于被修饰词之前。
