但在定语从句中that是一个关系代词,可代替先行词,在从句中作主语,宾语,表语.作宾语时可以省略.它的词义就是先行词的词义.
eg:The book (that) my brother bought yesterday is very interesting.这句中that 代替先行词book在从句中作宾语,要省略.
