both all either neither 有什么区别

1、意思不同：

both (两者都)，either(两者中任何一个)， neither (两者都不)。以上词使用范围为两个人或物。Neither of the two boys is clever. 两个男孩都不聪明。all (所有的，全部的人或物)。

2、用法区别：

all用于三者及以上，比如all sides of the square，意思是广场的每一边。其中square是广场，广场一般有四边，所以用all。

either指两者中的任意一个，比如either side of the road，指路的任意一边，后面加单数。

neither用于两者，指两者都不，表示否定，比如neither side of the road，两边都不是，后面加单数。

both用于两者，表示肯定，比如both sides of the road，意思是路的两边。因为路只有两边，所以用both。
