Abstract : July 21, 2005, the People's Bank of China launched the reform of the RMB exchange rate system and allow the yuan to appreciate that the implementation of the reform of the RMB exchange rate is "very artistic", the appreciation of the renminbi is expected to finally become a reality, nearly 1923 RMB appreciation of the voice responded. Attendant, an RMB revaluation of our businesses have affected all aspects of agriculture as the lifeblood of our economy, in this "appreciation storm" has been a definite impact, this will be an appreciation of the renminbi in international trade of agricultural products in China have immediate and long-term impact of specific analysis and suggested some of the proposed deal.

Abstract

On July 21, 2005, the People's Bank of China launched the reform of the Renmimbi exchange rate system and allowed the yuan to appreciate. This implementation of RMB exchange rate reformation was known to be "very artistic" and the renminbi appreciation finally came in expectation to reality, responding to the call urging for its appreciation during these two to three years. Happening along are the influences to the various industries in China. The agriculture industry, being the life line of our economy, will also be in some degree impacted by this "appreciation tempest". This text will attempt to explicity analyze the near-term and long-term effects to the international trade of agricultural products in China, and provide some suggestions on this subject matter.
