关于时间，in后加一段持续较长的时间，比如一月，2009年等等。on加点时间，比如日期一类。at加上时刻，比如15:20。for加一段时间，但是for指的是事件在时间里的持续，而非时间本身的持续。
至于地点，at加小地方，也指大地方的门前，如at the hospital gate就是在医院门前；而in只处身其中，如果在一个小地方觉得被封闭的话，可以用in，但是会表达出思想感情。
总结一句：地点状语要在时间状语前面，而不论是时间还是事情，都是由小到大的，楼主一定要注意。

for引导一段时间，强调时间由始至终，可译为“(时间)长达……”，一般与有长度的时间短语连用，如for three weeks,for a long time等，可用于现在(过去)完成时或过去时的句子里。for：达……之久（表示经过了多少时间）
